Miranda Rijks is the author of ‘How Compatible Are You’ published by Bloomsbury Publishing and Kodansha USA. She has written numerous articles that have been published in business and consumer media on subjects ranging from retailing, gardening and consumer healthcare to legal best practice, human resources and graphology.

Miranda is a management consultant, who has run her own and her family business. She particularly enjoys assisting companies bring new products to market, developing their brands and devising methods to increase profitability. Writing is integral in her work - whether for business plans, operations manuals, marketing material, website content or press releases.

In 2006 Miranda took a sabbatical from full-time work and embarked upon researching Cahn’s life. During the process she met some extraordinary people, some who had known the man himself, many who had family anecdotes or vital information to share. Even those few people who found the thought of capitalist Cahn distasteful were unfailingly helpful and kind.
